Therapy Assistant
Our client, a well-established hospital in the greater Sacramento area is in search of an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Individuals would be responsible for implementing Occupational therapist patient programs, giving feedback on patient’s performance and assisting in the growth and improvement of the environment.
To be considered for this position, you need to have knowledge of anatomy and human physiology including circulatory, muscular skeletal and nervous systems, medical terminology and the current occupational therapy techniques, principles and procedures.
Requirements:
- A valid COTA certification by the National Board of Occupational Therapy
- A valid BLS Healthcare provider level CPR certification
- At least one year of previous experience as a COTA
- Able to lift 25 lbs. and walk around throughout the day
