Med Info Specialist
Biopharmaceutical company in Smyrna seeks a qualified Medical Info Specialist.
Core Responsibilities
1. Scientific Knowledge and Exchange
a. Responds to unsolicited Medical Information requests from healthcare professionals, patients and company colleagues to provide balanced, scientific and relevant medical/product information
. Evaluates incoming Medical Information Requests for creation and/or updating of Standard Response Letters
. Responsible for the timely development and review of scientifically accurate Standard Response Letters within therapeutic specialty
d. Collects, analyzes, and communicates fair-balanced information concerning therapeutic area, treatment options, emerging standards of care, and competitive intelligence
e. Attends and serves as a medical information resource at key medical and scientific conferences, and internal meetings as required
. Recognize and capture non medical inquiries including adverse events, product quality complaints, and customer service issues and triage the information to the appropriate internal department for follow up.
. Possesses and maintains thorough knowledge of company products, therapeutic area, including related disease states and co-morbid medical conditions, and other therapeutic options within relevant disease states
Experience:
Minimum of 2-5 years MSL/MIS or industry–related experience strongly required
Relevant therapeutic and clinical experience preferred
Degree:
Pharmacy Degree Required.
Candidates must be flexible with travel.
