Clinical Data Manager
Specific responsibilities include:
- Represent Data Management in clinical project team interactions
- Coordinate work among team members and interact effectively with other functional units
- Perform quality control of Data Coordinators and Senior Data Coordinators work
- Develop standard operating procedures
- Train team members as appropriate
- Utilize current study documentation including contact list, protocol, Case Report Forms (CRFs), Data Validation Specifications, etc.
- Perform validation review using validation systems and assign appropriate action to discrepancies
- Generate queries based on validation specifications
- Track and action DCFs
- Update the database and CRFs in compliance with departmental/project standards
- Document and implement departmental and/or team decisions; including assisting with the creation and maintenance of data management documentation
Requirements
- BS/MS in a health related or science discipline, or equivalent with 3-5 years Data Management experience
- Experience with Clintrial® or other DBMS
- Effective time management in order to meet daily metrics or team objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication; able to express ideas concisely and clearly
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and colleagues
- Clintrial, or Oracle Clinical or EDC experience is required
