Clinical Trial Manager
Are you interested in being a key operations lead supporting a complex, global clinical program? Do you enjoy the challenges of breaking new ground? In this role, you will ensure the successful conduct of clinical studies, including planning, implementation and overall study management for one of our lead drug compounds, designed to treat Lupus.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Assumes leadership role for specific protocol(s), serving as primary contact for a study
- Works with study team to select clinical sites and develop timelines and budgets
- Ensures proper documentation of and leads handling of study-related issues
- Manages study timelines
- Leads clinical team meetings and keeps project team members informed of study progress, issues and potential timeline delays
- Reads and critically interprets relevant literature
- Works with clinical project manager on vendor selection process and ongoing vendor management (including CRO, Central Laboratory, IVRS etc.)
- May supervise other Clinical Operations staff
Requirements
- College degree required, preferably in health care or life sciences with a minimum of 5 years clinical trial experience, preferably with 2 years in a lead CRA capacity
- Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act independently
- Understanding of ICH, GCP and relevant regulatory requirements
- Prior experience in domestic and international clinical trials
- Familiarity with drug names, diagnoses and medical terminology
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
